OMTech PRONTO Q&A Unveiled

The New OMTech PRONTO CO2 laser engravers features several upgrades over its predecessor, including a higher engraving speed of up to 1000 mm/s (800mm/s recommended) and improved cutting capabilities, cutting through materials like acrylic up to 20 mm thick and wood up to 15 mm thick. It maintains a Class 1 safety rating with enhanced safety features, such as double protection for the front cover and waste bin door. Equipped with a powerful 125 L/min air pump and airflow fan, it ensures optimal performance. The X and Y axes utilize stepper motors with V-wheel guidance for stability. Additional features include a red light for easy calibration, a ball screw with a synchronous belt for high precision and low noise, and a non-contact switch for automatic focusing. The aesthetically pleasing split-type chassis is stronger, easier to transport, and includes sensors to monitor air pump pressure and temperature for enhanced safety.

The new machine has a maximum engraving speed of 1000mm/s (800mm/s recommended), which is about 66% faster than the old model's maximum speed of 600mm/s.
